In this page, the configuration file contains parameters that are evaluated at runtime. See the config file; the parameters are entered between ~-characters, in the form ~paramname~ or ~paramname,defaultvalue~.
Parameters make it possible to adjust the selection that is displayed by the table editor at run-time. Through the use of parameters, the table editor can be used to build end-user applications where data must be selected or hidden at runtime. Any part of the configuration file (attributes, elements, and other XML fragments) can be customized by parameters.
Note that the Master Detail functionality of DXTableEditor (see the related sample) is just a specialised use of parameters.
